About Us

What kind of people are we?

We are a group of about 180 people who come from all walks of life. Some are accountants, school teachers, factory workers, retired, homemakers, systems analysts, and engineers. We have a number of elderly people full of wisdom, younger parents, and children of all ages. We believe that Christ died to make all men one in Him (Gal. 3:27-28). Therefore, we can rid ourselves of our personal and cultural differences and unite together in the purpose of God.

What is our worship like?

Our worship of God is not designed to be flashy entertainment. Rather, it is a reverent and dignified offering of the heart in accordance with biblical guidelines.

We sing without the aid of musical instruments because the New Testament specifies this kind of music (Ephesians 5:19). The Lord's Supper is observed every Sunday according to the practice of early Christians (Acts 20:7). A biblical lesson is presented by one of our ministers. Prayers are offered by the congregation (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Also, we give as we have prospered each Sunday. As a visitor, please know that we are grateful for your presence at our services. The time set aside to give is not designed to be a request of our visitors, but rather designed to be a responsibility of our members (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).

Our view of the Bible

We believe the Bible is the final authority for all situations in life and that it has been handed down though the ages (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We look to this book alone for our answers. We will speak where the Bible speaks, and be silent where the Bible is silent. The Bible is not a “guideline” or a “good book to follow” but the only book that will give us power and answers. It will give us strength when we need it most.

What we are asking you?

As children of God, the most important goal in this life is to have an eternal home with Him in Heaven. If we miss Heaven, then we've missed it all! God sent His only Son so that through Him, the world might be saved and have everlasting life (John 3:16-17).

How can you know that you're going to Heaven? How can you know that you're walking with God? How great is God's love? How deep is His mercy?

All of these answers are found in the Scriptures and we want to help.

Please don't hesitate to call on us or visit with us.
